The formula of these looks awesome! I definitely think mattes are difficult to apply too and I always have to reapply lipsticks as well. My favorite is also the red. You rock a red lip SO well!!!

My Favorite of course is the More Scarlet, I just love a red lip. I’ve never tried applying foundation before applying the lipstick so I learned something new today. But like you mention the color does look lighter when you applied the foundation so I would go without.

More buff would probably be the one I pick up, all these colors look great on you - I just never wear pinks or reds so they wouldn't be worth it to pick up for myself. I love that you did lip swatches over foundation and without foundation on your lips!

that red is my fav too! i got the lime crime matte velvetine recently and loved it the first couple wears, but the last time i wore it it got a bit flakey. i think i need to experiment more and figure out how to make it work because otherwise i love the formula (and matte finishes in general)!
