Elle! I bought this last night at Target for $9.99, and I used it today. It's sooooo good! I'm almost 50 and have oily skin. I used a lightweight moisturizer, NO PRIMER, and I did set it lightly with translucent powder, and it looked so great! It applied nicely with a dry sponge and wore beautifully in triple-digit heat!!! It makes my skin look naturally pretty. THANK YOU SO MUCH ❣️

Hi Elle, I bought this foundation to hopefully try out and use during my recent vacation. It was extremely hot and humid and I wanted the long wear and SPF qualities I'd heard about. It did so well I didn't use anything else all week, and one day we spent in the heat walking almost 8 miles around Boston, with sweat pouring off me but this foundation withstood that challenge. I just picked this up at Superstore (Canada) for $8 bucks! I can't believe how nice it looks. I used to HATE drugstore foundations and this year I have found 3 foundations, plus 2 concealers that have made their way it into my regular rotation. I'm super impressed!

I am thrilled to see this foundation review. I’ve been wearing Bareminerals Complexion Rescue this summer and this would be a nice addition to my routine. I have dry skin to boot! By the way, I watched your video about adding eyeshadow to eyeshadow primer to make a natural cream eyeshadow and it works!! I had some bareminerals eyeshadow loose pigments and voila! I tried this foundation after a favorable review by Manny MUA. My 15yo daughter and I both like it a lot! I used a beauty blender but will try a brush too. I am 52 and dry, it didnt crease or settle into fine lines and was not drying. I didn't use primer or set it. Is this a dupe for IT cosmetics product?

it does look similar. IT is so much heavier in texture and coverage. Also IT is mineral SPF

I was really excited about this foundation because I need to wear 50spf daily as I live at high altitude. It looked wonderful on the skin as you say and wore decently. But the high denatured alcohol content burned and dried my mature skin horribly so I'll be sticking with my Missha BB cream or IT CC cream.

@@lisathomson3057 ummm the Missha BB cream is very nice for the price, but I find the shades to veer a bit grey in undertone and it is a bit less emollient than the IT CC cream. I think the IT CC cream is a slightly better product but it is also more than double the price of Missha BB.

Looks good, I wonder if it will come to the UK. Your daughter is sooo cute, how are things with her health? I had a seizure last year triggered by a sick bug (apparently it leads to an electrolyte imbalance which can lead to a seizure). Keep up with the good fight & stay strong.

Hi, I am not sure about how that would be treated if it was a regular cause. My normal trigger is lack of sleep & I had been seizure free for 17 years until last year when I caught an extreme vomiting bug (I could not stop). I know from when I have seen a neurologist in the past that blood sugar levels can also cause them as I have been warned not to allow myself to get too hungry by not eating, a bit unfortunate for my waistline at my age. Has your daughter has an EEG? They can be used to rule out or find triggers.

There is an article explaining the electrolyte side of things on Epilepsy.com. I used to work as a medical secretary so tend to find these things interesting. I am also intrigued by the fact that dogs can detect a change in smell prior to a seizure and are now being trained as seizure alert dogs - which would suggest a change in the chemical smell of a person. Good luck & I will keep you in my thoughts.

Great pick Elle. And your daughter is cute as a button! L’Oréal bought IT cosmetics and brought this out shortly after. Sounds nice from the price and the finish. It’s one to recommend. Especially if someone has a tight budget that needs to stretch for a lot more than high end makeup. I thought I saw alcohol in the ingredient list as you mentioned but otherwise it looks great. The IT has some irritating ingredients as well. Citrus & bergamot so fragrance wise they’re equal. Chemical sunscreen is different from the IT CC which is all mineral. For the price if people aren’t allergic to chemical sunscreen that’s a great pick. I’m allergic to chemical sunscreen so I won’t buy this but I have friends who would love just this kind of alternative to the high end IT CC. Thanks.

Yes I talk about this a lot on my channel that is why I call it out in all products. I have a whole video on it. There is also research to support both ways and most US dermatologist have no problem with it. So it will be a personal choice
