Hi, so if this is used on the outside or edge of a mug/plate, do you still use the softee's? And, if so, does it need to be sealed so that it won't come off during washing or in a dishwasher? Also, can this be used on mid range fired pieces? Thank you!

Hi! Classic Crackles is not recommended for dinnerware use because of the crackles may trap food or moisture. The ink or acrylics applied after firing does not get fired. @@MaycoColors Thank you for your quick reply. So, is it OK to put on the outside of a mug, below where the lips would touch? If so, can it be washed and still keep the dye in the cracks? I use cone 5 clay and glazes. Thanks
