Just wanted you guys to know that this specific song has helped me cope up with the pain of my father’s passing September of last year. I never really had time to grieve since I was the only one in our family who was capable in arranging everything at that time, so I was very much occupied. The song pretty much made me feel safe in mourning my father’s death. Thank you guys, and for the past 13 years of having your songs on repeat, one could really conclude that Mayday Parade is more than just a band. It’s an emotion.

This reminds me of all the things I wish I had the courage to say to my parents . I hold a lot of guilt . My aunt passed away a few months ago. She had a few beers/alcohol the night prior to her unexpected hike. She’s been struggling a lot financially, since her business was in shambles. On top of that, her new boyfriend went home to his ex-wife. That broke her emotionally and mentally. After drinking the night away, she only had a few hours of sleep, her friend woke her up and invited her to go hiking. Of course, she agreed. They went to a trail that would last approximately 6 hours non-stop. Then, after a few miles reaching the top- she felt different. She tried to catch her breath. She sat down, and tried to ease everything out. But unfortunately, due to some reasons, her eyes blurted out blood. And when the medics came to save her, it was all too late. I was heart broken, everyone in our family was. Since she was such a strong woman who loved everyone in the family. She lived a young life (46). It still haunts me to this day. I wish we were there in the times that she felt uneasy and depressed. April 1st 2023. April Fool’s. I surely wish that it was all just a joke. 😔
