I camped 39 for a long while. Scrapping L26 ships meant I could continue to compete in SLBs even after I had tiered everything else up. It also meant I had a very handy stash of 4* ready and waiting once I moved into the 40s

Built and scrapped many of the entry level ships in my now lvl 54 account along the way for G4 parts. ABS, Always be scrapping! Is required unless you have a large CC limit. In my now lvl 29 account, I built the D3 in order to use cloaking to get the research benefits.

I think the economy has improved enough that building and tiering these isn't too bad. I still recommend to get to 28 as quickly as feasible for Saladin as daily grinder.

LVL 28 has a giant downside though, you get matched in the same daily SLBs as lvl 49s, missing out on a lot of Latinum

I have built and scraped so many I lost track. But if you have your efficiency research up there, it will reduce the mat cost so much it's becomes spending 10k credits for 4 star mats. I am to the point where I have reduced the mats cost so much some of the components that take uc and rares are free.

Well, it is really up to the player. I skipped 2 of 3 of them, but then have since built about 3 or 4 of each and scrapped them. So my answer would be to initially skip them, with the benefit of growing more quickly, and then when the 3* materials are piling up in the upper 30 ops levels, start building and scrapping. As for operationally, I wouldn't slow down and build a 3* faction ship until I can build a Saladin. That ship is useful up to the 3* Epics. And of course, it is cheaper to Cloak a level 26 ship as you say, so if you are looking for cloaking research creds, then it is worth it to build one just to keep it in your stable for 3 hostile cloak kills a day.

even tho i had a vahklas and kumari i still got the legion but really wish i got the D3 would of scrapped the vahklas then can do swarms with a D3 over a legion but only got it to lv20 with all special buildings and research really help you keep ships at lower levels and still good enough to do your dailys and events then once i get into g4 il work on the lv26 and maxing out lv28 faction ships

loved my Mayflower, most skipped it why back when. This was back when Armada launched, got bonus as I had a more powerful ship then they did and this was also before the staring in Armadas also. When scrapping started Alliance members who skipped and had to go back and build.

If the warp range at maximum was just 3 higher (53 instead of 50), with all the bonies from buildings to hull and damage and officer stats etc. the Legionary would be good enough these days to serve as Tigercore grinder and get those factions to triple luck 10M with the player being able to sit out on Ops 27 forever and benefit from the good daily event bracket.

Still building and acrapping these at level 50, got a d3 in the scrapper at the moment to tier my kelvin to 9. Can only see this stopping when i hit 53 and get a Northcutt.

Not bad for cloak and always nice to scrap a maxed one for 4* mats at scrapyard 32 or 34 or whatever and start buying prime researches that take the G4 mats.

I try to have one scrapping consisteently. they are easy to get BP, and not to hard to tier up, and then auto grind to level 45.. -- the tier ups make Faction hunts easier.. and less grind.. and a decent source of 4* RSS

Without even watching the video, I say yes! Building the Mayflower, Legionary, and D3 is essential in preparing for the G4 economy. Scrapping these ships is the primary source of obtaining 4* ship parts. I've lost count of the number of these ships I've built and scrapped, and my Korinar and Pilum builds are stalled at tier 6 because of how many ship parts are still needed. The output of the ships parts refinery simply does not compare to the payout from scrapping these ships.

You bet your ass you better get them! Here’s the thing, if you get them and scrap them it allows you to get the Prime *3 Gas/Crystal/Ore refines which in turn allows you to refine more. Also if you max out the Mayflower and scrap it you get common and uncommon *4 explorer parts for the jellyfish. At lvl 40, I can’t get them from the refinery and I’m not moving up to lvl 41 until my jelly can handle the move

I assume Rev is going to say yes, get them but not when you're at Ops 26. My path was to use Talios as my bridge between Kumari and Saladin, then built these for scrapping when I was in my 30s.

I did the same. I used the ViDar till I got to the Bortas. I did go back and build them for scrapping to get 4* mats. The research for cloaking to get Hull boost would heve been ice at lvl 26, but I did fine without it.

Once you get to 26 of course you are gonna want to get a faction ship. They are must haves to advance for that point in time. I will agree that the first one you get is the least important out of the 3 main ones

i made a light f2p account and since im going rom and klingon im choosing the legion i think as long as a ship can take you to respected yes the lv28 faction ship can carry you way far but i want to see how far a lv26 faction ship can carry me im sure with PMC will have no problems just WR very limiting im ops23 and favoured and 10 bps off the legion still using my NS once i have a lv26 shipyard il make the legion but want the cloak to and could get a d3 but any point getting both lol later on ya its a challenge im doing how far a legion can take me only issue with the D3 is i dont like its firing pattern even the vahklas has a great firing pattern best FP out of the 3 commons challenge NS to Legion to Borg Cube then voyager also its more harder to get shakedown pike shards for the full unlock than faction credit you can get 50 from FT but the other 50 are a grind early on places to source him is disco recruits ultra and premium recruits based on RNG srry about the pike rant

Building and scrapping d3+mayflower is going to keep money in your pocket scrapping these ships and earning some primes at 34 ops. Get the 26 and 28 ships, skip 32 and go to 34.

Churning g3 ships to generate g4 materials is a time vs money 💰💰💰 factor that you will have to start looking at at 42 ops. 90% of players don't even get to that 42 ops.

as an ops31 player in my opinion is mayflower skip with cloak dailys legion and D3 more needed but i think you can skip but out of the two i would go d3 but legion a good option to my rank for them is 1st D3 2nd Legion and last is mayflower but ya you can skip in my opinion i had a vahklas for swarms and legion for faction hostiles and carried me to lv28 ships where i chose a centi multipurpose ship can do swarms and same as the sally
