Flume uses an OP-1 and miniMoog. You can listen to a lot of the standard and more creative techniques with both machines in his music. A note on my behalf is that from a creative mixing perspective I hear a ton of bus compression coupled with automation; also consider the gate side chain tricks.

It 's true, at the beginning of the video has already the lag with only one synth open. I feel guilty, I complain when my pc does not hold the 80 tracks between midi and sample (i use Ableton). MayFlwr with a PC like that, makes really cool tracks
