This may seem boring to most anglers, but trust me, it will bring highly valuable knowledge to you when it comes to nymphing.

This was filmed in standard definition. The DVD is crisp, but my upload to KZbin is pretty bad. I'm not sure how to make it better. Mid current posted (with my permission) a copy on Vimeo that is higher resolution. ~ Ralph

Hydrodynamically marvelous! i loved the emergence - no music, just a frog, at night. I hear hellgrammites emerge during thunderstorms? maybe tough to get the full lifecycle of the dobsonfly! Oh, and don't we humes have a crisis phase similar to mayflies'? ;>)

Hi! Could I use some of this footage in a film project? It would only be for a few seconds and I would't use the audio. You would of course be mentioned in the credits. Thanks.

You think it would be possible for a genius of mayflies were over millions of years of evolution forsake there winged adult forms to live entirely in water particularly the crawlers and swimmer nymphs.

Ah they fall into the water, yea right, they fall everywhere especially under lights and create a slippery stinky mess.
