You didn't really ask but this song is about his 50/50 partner Damien Ritter that he started his old record label Funk volume with. They had a dispute about money. Damien pretty much is the one who signed the checks. So while they were 50/50 partners in the label Damien was Hopsins and the rest of the artists at Funk Volumes manager and promoter and took his cut for those things on top of the labels cut. So this song was made in the middle of them actually in a legal battle. He now has is own label Undercover Prodigy

Basically him and swizzz (another rapper) started a label called “funk volume” and they hired dame (swizzz brother) to be the label manager. They then signed a couple other artists (dizzy wright, jarren Benton) and then a couple of years back dame and hopsin got into a heated argument about money and it blew up so bad that the label funk volume disbanded. When he talked about tomica she’s the ceo of “Ruthless records” and the wife of the late rap legend EAZY E And hopsin was signed by them before FV and they did the same thing to him. So that’s why he said your in the same bullshit tomica brought

Fly is sick, Hop is Back, False Advertisement, Picasso, Sag my pants, Hotel in Sydney and he just put one out yesterday called Covid Mansion! The man is a fucking genius! Check those out. There are more! Oh I almost forgot, You Should've Known ft. Dax. All of them are just like the ill mind series. Everything he spits is on some real shit, like NF. Also one random song you should check out is a song called "Can't Be Saved" by Vin Jay ft. Bingx and Gawne. They are KZbin rappers, but probably 3 of the best besides Dizzy Eight. That song has a hell of a vibe!

Damien Ritter was hopsins partner in a rap group called funk volume aka fv damien Ritter thought what he was doing was right which was having the fv rappers make money and he gets most of the money even tho a rapper without a manager could be making more hopsin made funk volume with some friends and D ritter took control of all the money that funk volume was making hopsin and all the other rappers were practically broke as hopsin was the only group member who noticed this bc he was the other half of fv's managers

insight on this song. Dame was his 50/50 partner in his label Funk Volume which he started when he was like 16... he brought dames little brother SwizZz and they were getting to big business wise and hop being a kid didnt know what to do with the business side. Dame is an accountant and has experience so SwizZz made the suggestion. later down the line theyre huge FV one of the larger underground labels, and hop noticed some money stuff behind the scenes that was kind of shady Dame was his partner, manager, and accountant, so he wanted to get a separate manager of his own and Dame said no. some time passes and Hop just wants his shit (His masters from his music over the years)and he leaves which led to a lawsuit... anger built up during the lawsuit and he dropped this song because Dame continued to try and fuck him over.

Pretty much FV is Funk Volume which was hops own label but his management (ritter) fucked him over and Tomica was the president at ruthless records earlier in his career where he was partnered and she also was spending money frivolously. He made a diss track on her before this. She was spending too much on his music videos when he said he could do a better job with much less money and invest that money elsewhere where its needed more.

(Tamika) she basically fucked him over never actually put any of his music out wasted his time. Hopsin left Funk Volume because of SwizZz brother was taking money from everyone not just Hopsin. Now he's a solo artist and is doing well. Funk Volume is also no more since he released this song.

His manager was messing with his pay saying he wasn’t making as much as he actually was.
