I know this is one of your older videos, but let me thank you for taking me down memory lane!!! When I became legally blind and had to quit 40 years of nursing, I moved home with my mama & ended up caring for her after she cared for me! The moral of this story is, I feel like I’m doing the bows she taught me, remembering making these bows EXACTLY like these and ALL free hand! I can see colors, and some shapes but I do most by feel not sight. I did have here there to help me when I needed it. My eyes welled up as I watched you make bows and wreaths and she mostly made bows for her tree topper & tails and outside velvet ribbon on our lamppost! Thank you for taking me down memory lane!!! 💋💋 If I use a large apple I Phone and get up real close with my magnifying glass and see what you’re doing. I miss my mama so much. In the 4 years I had her all to myself, we jelled! Her issues became mine and mine hers! She passed in December 18, 2016 after an unexpected illness. Seeing you do this wreath & bows makes the memories come flooding back! I’m trying 2 of your wreathes and bows when my husband is gone visiting his mom for over 2 weeks in July. Slowly gathering supplies so it’s go fine in July. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing her skills with me! 👍🏼👍🏼💋💋😘😘🥰🥰

We have 15 women in our craft club. We meet together monthly. Dec is secret pal guessing game, elections of officers. We donate all of our money to someone needy in the community. In Dec, we also choose where we will meet all year (minus June, July and August) I have March and am looking forward to teaching your bow method (love the zip ties). Spring bows and birthday bows!! We pray for our community, if someone is ill we take them food. Hostess is in charge of craft and desert, everyone else brings a dish. I have been with this group of mighty women of God for 21 years. My fibromyaligia causes terrible cramping in that muscle between the thumb and pointing finger. It is so frustrating! I have never been able to finish a bow tying it this way.

Once I get it to the point where I get it "tied off", I can never get a pretty bow! I usually use zip ties. I've got 1500 zip ties, so, why not?

Maybe I'm not making my loops big enough, so it's hard to position them in a good position. I used to have a Christmas shirt that said ho ho ho across the top around the neckline. At the time I was teaching 7th and 8th grade, I realize that it took a brave woman to wear a shirt that said ho ho ho on it in front of a bunch of eighth graders!!!!🤦🤦🤦

You may have a video for this but watched your you can make beautiful bows video and finally made a kind of decent bow ( making bows is so hard for me) Im not sure what it would be called but I am wanting to make a bow for my wreath I have a brown burlap type wired ribbon and then a thin just regular one sided candy cane theme ribbon and I want to put the thin ribbon on top of the burlap in a bow any help or video to watch would be appreciated 🙂
