Much respect to Maynard for paying tribute to Ozzy!

Maynard did a great job. I could tell he was a lil nervous towards the beginning but fell into his Groove! It’s a lot pressure when your doing it in front of one of your idols on a Hall of Fame platform.

I'm sure Maynard has experienced stage fright in all its forms countless times over the course of his career but that's the first time I've heard him say it out loud
@nuke972 ай бұрын
Im still bewildered that he got picked to perform Crazy Train. The guy that made it his career to stand in the shadows behind the band....to sing Ozzy and try and flex showmanship? Still did way better than Jelly Roll lol.

He did such a fantastic job dude, he is awesome and stands more out front with A Perfect Circle, it's just with Tool that's his thing. Jelly Roll sucked ass, Billy Idol who also is way older sounded better.

@mearndt1 I wouldn't say fantastic. He sounded nice. I didn't feel his performance though. Even in APC and Puscifer he's in the back. He was very nervous the whole time. It's cool that he did it but he wasn't a fit.

It didn't matter if he was out of range, it's freakin Maynard singing for Ozzy.

While Maynard was a bad choice for 'Crazy Train' (I think 'Mama I'm Coming Home' would've made way more sense), it was great to see him up there with Wolfgang.

Maynard is cool but that was not good. Just sounded too clean imho. It was like a lounge singer doing Metal par Boone did it better! Oh and Jelly roll? Really?!
