I like the blend of Magical Girlfriend and making a deal anime. This feals like an updated version of an retro anime. I also like how it showed how internet negativity affects people and is like a vicious cycle while still being a funny vampire show!

@@kyero8724 it's just a bad take. never heard of bocchi the rock? sailor moon? sakura cardcaptor? girls band cry? they're all huge successes with girl protagonists. in this case I think it was the lack of promotion, I hadn't heard of mayonaka punch until episode 1 aired

"Mayonaka" translated from Japanese apparently means "midnight" so "Midnight Punch"? Interesting name for sure.

U know, remind me of the chill and cast from "calling of the night" anime Heroine is prone to being angry or burst out, short fuse but only when it comes to her channel or being told that she shouldn't have such a short fuse See a vampire, instead of fighting it (short temper) she runs away (smart choice in this situation) and she a KZbinr😂

So the lesson here is don’t judge a book without getting the full story and that in this case newtubers are people too and can be affected by comments including the toxic negative ones cause that can cause depression among other things

I tried getting into this show, I just can’t seem to sympathise characters that are so obsessed with clout that they’ll do whatever means necessary to get what they want. Now I think of it I suppose this show is a reflection of social media’s ugly side so there’s a silver lining in that.

@@Yugito I say it's still a bit open ended on how bothersome MC's work ethics were really like/gotten, and also regarding what caused her to throw hands in the first place. The three seemed close enough in the flashback, which might suggest that the roommates probably let some of the fame directed at them over MC go over their heads a bit while MC's work ethics and behavior get more erratic. Overall, I say it feels like what actually happened between them will be something more expanded on in the next/last few episodes.

I put it more on the MC girl having serious anger issue and getting over focus on what she want to achieve not caring for other POV. Now she is slowly changing her behavior.
