Mayor Cantrell blasts non-permitted 'concert' in New Orleans French Quarter

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell said she is “furious” after a large crowd gathered near Jackson Square for an unsanctioned concert on Saturday.
Christian musician Sean Feucht held a worship service and concert along Decatur Street, drawing hundreds of people who were not wearing masks or social distancing.

Omg!! Who is she to speak such words? Keep the city safe? Wasn't New Orleans just recently reportedly like the murder capital of the country or something? But yet the protests were permitted and she wasn't upset. This lady is the deifinition of a hypocrite. She's upset because she doesn't believe in the Gospel. Nobody was held against their own will that attended. Those in attendance voluntarily participated in worship unto God, which is essential.

I'm a recent transplant in New Orleans, but damn I sure am proud of our mayor. It is not an easy thing to do what she just did. In fact it takes great strength and courage. I wish that the supposed Christians who are here to show love to our community could do it by keeping their germ ridden super spreading events away from our people.
