WOW! Has anyone else noticed that when the Mayor is asked a difficult question, he either brushes it off or passes it to someone else? People want answers. The RNC is 33 days away and there isn't enough security! Why NOT just admit that the RNC dosent't need to be held in Jacksonville! No way should it be held here!!! Oh yeah, why isn't Sheriff Williams there? Yes that IS a relevant question!!!!

I knew Jacksonville didn’t have enough materials On normal occasions we are currently 300 officers short and I’m not part of JSO or any agency

It’s concerning y’all haven’t talked about violence. The RNC will bring the most radicals this city has seen and Sheriff Williams said he doesn’t have the materials The rioters could come before or after as well

Would bother me more esp. with the Sheriffs words, But our city hasnt been prey to the rich funding org's. pushing "new" (and violent "if neccesary"?!?) changes to society. Surely there will be attempts for "a big show" at the convention. and just as surely there will be/ and is, a quiet FBI , DHS, and other Federal monitoring of when they move and any plans they have for Jacksonville.

Alfred, I personally don’t want it here but if we do the FBI, DHS, etc. would need to stay before and after for an extended period of time because they can strike any second. The reason we aren’t crazy like other cities is our Republican leadership who put their foot down if Jacksonville was ran by Democrats we would be like Atlanta or Portland right now that’s not a place I’d want to live in

Exactly I think people should’ve voted in every election since America began because if we don’t we end up like our current cities. Nice to see people with common sense on here
