Kyle Chandler (the older brother) was the mayor. Jeremy Renner is now the mayor. " The Mayor" basically runs interference between the prisons, the gangs, and anything else people need handled that they can't get done through proper channels. Also, " the mayor" is just like a nickname. It's not an official title. The guard mailed a letter for that inmate, which in itself could get him fired, but the fact that the letter was mailed to someone gang affiliated on the outside could probably land him in jail. By turning on the inmate early, he made sure that what he'd done would never get out. The show explains itself more as it goes on. I'm glad y'all finally got around to this one and i hope y'all stick with it. I just watched the season 3 finale a couple weeks ago and literally sat there for a few minutes after it ended because that shit was insane. So much is packed into each episode. And since the two of you are recording again maybe y'all can finish "Vikings" or you and Joe can react to season two of "Gangs of London". Anyway, looking forward to the next one. Take Care ...

Hey guys! I happened to be watching your reaction to Sons of Anarchy for the third time now in the past three or four years. I just watched season two episode nine where they go to the judges house to intimidate him. They threaten to kill his kid and he does not fold. Just a theory of mine, and maybe somebody else has suggested it to you but I found myself pausing that episode twice, just to explain it out loud to myself the reasoning behind the judges decision. My theory is he’s a judge he’s seen it all heard it all, also, he knows that if they kill his son, he won’t give them nothing and they know this as well, so basically he called their bluff, their threat didn’t have teeth. But burning some of his deceased wife’s possessions that he cherishes. That would be easy to do. You don’t have to get bloody you don’t have to hide a body. All you Gotta do is burn some papers. That threat had teeth. Like I said, he’s a judge he reads people. He called their bluff, but he knew damn well they would burn his shit and they should’ve had that line in there. Jack’s could’ve told him we might not have killed your kid, but will definitely burn your shit.
