Maysa Daw ft. Joss Stone - Palestine

In beautiful Palestine, we met with up with the indie musician Maysa Daw. We feel so privileged to have had collaborated with her. The song we sang 'Come With me' A love story about Maysa and her lover living on different sides of the border, dreaming about going on a journey and being free together for a moment. Borders shouldn't get in the way of true love, so sad for this to happen. Thank you for a lovely heart-felt song, it really does give you the goosebumps.

Wow i've been listening to maysa daw for the last month and Rasha nahas and other palestinian artists because they make me feel better and speak out what i feel since im a palestinian of the 1948 exiled, living abroad so i long to our palestinian dialect, and listening to maysa gives me that fix ... also i wouldve not imagined seeing joss with palestinian talents ... its like a dream :)

This is not really true. Once the UN gave the Jews some of their old land back (remember also that Palestine was a new country too) Palestine teamed up with a lot of Arab states to try and wipe Israel out. They did this twice - in 2 wars. Please also remember that Egypt blockades Palestibe for similar reasons to Israel. (all they want to do is import missiles from Iran, they spend almost no money on infrasructure)

What a beautiful intro, voices, melodies, filled with soul feelings, hypnotizing ما شاء الله nothing like a true feelings put into words and melodies....... Some years back I used to go to a local library in Viborg city in Denmark, then borrow the black acoustic guitar from that library, then sit by the piano in a music room, take the tablature book of Joss Stone's album The Soul Sessions, put it at the piano, and even I've never learned chords on piano I'd make some sounds, rhythms and melodies, record them on my phone, and then take the guitar and jam on those rhythms and melodies, watching the picture of Joss and putting some words on those jam sessions... What I'm trying to say is that I was inspired by Joss, her voice, soul from her early days and I felt this kind of connection, which make much more sense, seeing all those collaborations she made with so many artists from around the world - it is so beautiful and profound, great idea of uniting, riding on those feelings that connect the souls of human beings. I've stopped with music some years ago, but still sometimes I get this feeling of belonging in those waters. Greetings to beautiful Joss Stone and all those artists, maybe one day she will travel to Bosnia and make one of those video songs with some of the great artists of Bosnia like Damir Imamović or I don't know someone she finds inspirational.
