I have the exact same dryer which stopped spinning yesterday. I was going to buy another dryer but checked youtube videos and saw your video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and mentioning belt part number as I forgot to write down model number when I went to an appliance store (saved me another trip). This was an easy fix! Thanks Scott, this worked! I ordered the replacement drive belt from Maytag. One thing to mention is when installing the belt the idle shaft moves so you can push it towards the motor shaft then snap on the belt. Very helpful diagram.

Thank you so much for uploading this video, it helped us SO much! It was a little bit confusing on how to place the belt on the wheel thing, but we managed to get it back on there. I especially love that you showed where to find the model numbers! I would have never guessed it was there lol. Ours was a little bit different place, it was on the side rather than the top like yours, some genius must have thought people can read sideways in the crack of the door. Lol. We have a Maytag medx655dw1, but it was generally the same stuff. But anyway, thank you!!!
