About the annulment, he emotionally badgered her into it, endlessly fighting into the night and she was tired and just wanted to go to sleep. Look up emotional manipulation and what your partner can do to you in a relationship, they can have control over your heart until nothing makes sense anymore. No matter what, he could make whatever he want to happen, and he wanted to make her uncomfortable as to agree to leave his life so he could be free to be single again and go with someone else and not feel guilty about it.

Mayte is such a wonderful person. It upsets me that there are channels dedicated to shaming her and her life with prince. Prince loved mayte and believed they were soul mates..I also think they were. I cannot imagine being married to a man that every woman wanted to get with..she did her best. She tried to give prince a family and they lost their baby..I read her book and it was heartbreaking to read about them going through her pregnancy and losing their baby. I think that lose broke prince. I also get the feeling he never really loved Manuela the way he loved mayte..mayte inspired him in a way no other woman ever did. I also think if she had held on a little longer when he had an affair with Manuela he would have eventually broke off the relationship with Manuela and returned to mayte. They truly had a love story and neither of them seemed to ever get over it I see mayte ad princes widow and I wish she had walked away with more then she did. Prince really cut her out of the life he once gave her..she worked her ass off while they were together. Prince had a way of cutting people out if they hurt him in any way, maybe thats how he dealt with pain..I also think Larry had a lot to do with influencing prince against mayte at a time when prince was very vulnerable..everyone wanted a piece of him, and people vied for the piece of prince that was maytes by marriage vows...it was kind of an Elvis and Priscilla thing..where the man was larger then life and she kind of got shoved to the back by selfish manipulative people. Anyway her book was amazing and I read it a year ago and I am about to read it again. It was not a tell all but an actual memoir of her life and beautifully written. Much love to mayte.
