Mayte has a nice voice and this song is jammin. I really don’t understand why some “fans” love to bash and hate on her. The tragic loss of their baby boy is what drove them apart. The fact that they both grieved very differently didn’t help much either. Don’t get me wrong, I am not blaming anyone! I can’t imagine how excruciating that must have been. I wouldn’t know because I don’t have children. I’m sure Mayte is a wonderful woman and she definitely loved Prince with all her heart when they were together, and you can tell she still does to this day, so why do you feel the need to put her down? She never did anything to you and I highly doubt you know her in real life, so STFU!!! Love you, Mayte! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They both were hurting following the loss of the baby Amir and it drove them apart because the didn't deal with they grief. Hurt people hurt other people. He didn’t have the experience or the tool kit for understanding death. He wasn’t inclined to wallow. He really had no time for depression or self-pity Mayte's book was finally her release she got a chance to say goodby to them both 💔💞💜💔 ☔

They go negative because they are used to trash "music", and can't handle anything that isn't Autotuned to death, which is, basically 98% of today's "popular" music...and also cannot accept that it takes real talent and skill to sing. Why do you think Prince surrounded himself with the artists that he did? He knew talent and skill when he saw it. Today's Top40 "music" is nothing but autotuned bulls**t, and takes no actual talent to make. there are very few real artists making music today. But, hey...the fact that people are so brainwashed to listen to autotuned s**t is none of my business. ((sips some HOT Constant Comment tea)).

Blobby Blob I'm glad to. Seeing how she acted on Hollywood exs, says a lot... She really is a bitch, sorry to say. Her attitude and fakeness probably pushed Prince away. He probably saw another side to Mayte that he didn't see before.. She also gets drunk a lot. Even back then. I'm sorry to say, but Prince was very gullible to beautiful women.
