Thanks for the post! If the kV was reduced less than 100 kV would this be better for using the bigger propeller and less cavitation do you think? Also would you consider increasing as amps for more thrust and volts to go faster? Thanks for any tips Virus

I posted on another one of your videos that Maytech said they can customise and reduce the kV if requested, Im wanting to use on a surfboard so wondering if less kV may be better for my project?

Hi Gerard, everything is not possible, less kv means a bigger motor less power etc I will test 192kv soon with all my propellers and compare with this 100kv motor.Thanks

I bought the Maytech efoil kit in 2020 and it turned out to be garbage. The motor was fine (although the propeller they send you is way too big) but the controller is absolute trash. I hooked up a 14S battery (well within specs) and the result was not enough speed to foil followed by the motor burning out (ruined) within 5 minutes. Got a new motor, same result. Of course Maytech doesn’t honor their warranty. I switched over to a Flipsky system and after some programming issues got it working great. I’d say avoid Maytech!

Maytech and flypsky are the same or similar motor I think I was the first to buy the maytech motor and that motor is still working, I think you have a problem with your efoil, maybe you are a begginer making efoils. And the remote control is amazing, the best potentiometer on the market, great control and smooth feeling, I love this remote in waves. I just finish my last efoil model and I will show you more videos flying and surfing, Maytech is an incredible set, highly recomended!
