Awwww, grampire is so considerate and kind, but I like one chatter's comment in the chat, that grampire does have the right and it's not bad to have his vision or goals happen. I'm sure he could try to find ways for people to not work overtime when planning and working to make for example, a cover of a song. I'm sure he could consult other Holopros about this.

The first name that goes to my mind is Tokino Sora. She also says the same thing to be considerate and her solution is organize what you want to do as possible, "since she started alone she always get used to doing things alone and keep growing", "work together, learn what you can learn, do your best and make preparations that help to achieve your goal", like now Sora is learning english and also fixing the day/night routine is just a way to be able to communicate and prepare to talk with someone overseas.

Likely what he needs is just to grow some more first so that he can get more staff devoted to him. If you don't want to add more work hours, you gotta either increase productivity or staff.

I really respect vesper and empathize with how he feels on this issue. I don't like to inconvenience people and it can make me hold back a lot of times. That being said he seems to be almost overly reserved since his suspension. He has mentioned not asking for game permissions any more and often brings up not wanting to inconvenience his managers or staff. I hope he gets more comfortable again in time and doesn't feel afraid to make the content he wants to make.
@Maserbeam Жыл бұрын
in my opinion, vesper is making a minor misjudgement by comparing himself to the people he doesn't want to be. vesper is already aware, therefore cannot be the same as tactless co-workers. i think vesper will eventually come to the idea that in a Holopro "overtime" situation, staff and talents have a drive to do great things, not to offload effort onto others.
@venkaramon Жыл бұрын
I think once a year ambitious content is fine. For example MiKorone 24 is a big project but they only do it every now and then. I get what he's trying to say but if he gets stuck in this loop then he will get bored himself. Challenging yourself every now and then is fine. They don't really have to do over time if they plan far enough ahead
@theoverlordbear Жыл бұрын
I'm reminded of Astel, especially his 3D debut, which was said to have gone overbudget thanks to how ambitious he made it. Also, JP Stars who have collabed with notable VAs like Nobuhiko Okamoto (with Rikka), Yuuki Ono (with Roberu and with Rikka), and Shiori Izawa (with Oga, Rio, Roberu, and Miyabi). And I know Gramps has collabed with Takahata101 before. And then there's the Stars having music that's unconventional coming from folks who are seen as idols in the Japanese sense, plus how the Stars have the drive to do such things despite and through how arguably harder they are to market. In other words, when I think of a holo boy, I think of someone who also has respectable ambition alongside humble perseverance even and especially when they're the underdogs, those who are expected to be losers.

So basically he needs a manager that can tolerate the talent's stream length like korone's manager.

Considerate, but also maybe a bit wrongheaded. He shouldn't demand staff work overtime, but if you give them enough notice in advance and keep to only one big project at a time then I don't see why you can't make big things happen. After all, what's the point of being a corporate vtuber if you don't utilize those corporate resources
@ctographerm3285 Жыл бұрын
I mean there's already a massive difference from his story and from what they do in holopro. He's not some manager who tells his underlings "just do overtime lel" and then f's off to do their own thing. If he's doing a project that would require staff to do OT, then he's more than likely also doing work to make that project succeed. The former shows disrespect to workers' time, the latter can be a necessity to make big things.

Vesper is a great streamer, collabmate, and one of the best zatsu streamers I've come across, so if he's found a pace that makes him happy, I'm 100% for that.
@reezen0856 Жыл бұрын
Hmmmm, he's too considerate to the point that he's limiting his content and not accomplishing the things he wants to do (in terms of high-production content). Given the people he works with in HoloPro, he can manifest the project if he just asks. They'll be kind enough to lend a hand like what Axel did with his Bad End Night cover. Vesper lent Axel a hand, so what's to say that they won't do the same to Vesper?
@tuck234 Жыл бұрын
It’s probably part of his introversion and his own life experiences honestly. As people looking in it seems obvious, but for him it’s a kind of psychological hurdle that can be taxing to try and jump thru. Especially after his suspension, i say he takes the time he needs to mentally prepare first.

Meanwhile, also Vesper: best believe I'm gonna be the first VTuber to stream from Antarctica He just needs the right push to break himself out of this self-imposed "considerate to a fault" loop. He's part of the leading VTuber corp in the market. If it were just him and a manager, I'd get it. But he has way more connections and resources than I think he's giving Holo credit for. Great to see that he can leverage it with all the boys in mind, but I'd be even happier to see him leverage it for his own pursuits once in a while.

As someone who is in a demanding job, I completely get where he is coming from. I also never want people to work themselves too hard for my sake because I have been there before too. But I still think he should atleast discuss with his management on how ambitious of a project he can go through without causing any issues. No point in limiting your content when it might not even be that much of an issue for them 😀

That's the duality of being in a corp like this. It grands you many possibilities, helps you making connections and protects you from outside attacks, but it also kinda kills your creativity to some degree with all the limitations they put on you (perms doko). I hope he doesn't get too bummed out because of this.

yeah vespy would lose to goku for sure but I feel he'll have better chance against kurilin or ten shin han I don't know how strong tempus power level right now but I think at least everyone could beat saibamen and still alive after the fight unlike yamucha (even marine said he's a waste of senzu)

It's nice of him, but those jp staff are gonna work overtime anyway. Might just as well be in his projects. That said, nothing wrong with going at your pace and keeping it simple. Many of the jp girls do only simple standard streams and it's fine, we can't all be Marine. That said, he shouldn't be afraid to go a bit crazy from time to time, it's the gap between granpire and Florida man that's hilarious.

i wonder if that suspension he had has anything to do with him not wanting to do anything too ambitious? because his suspension was for something to do with a disagreement with someone in the company right? i wonder if this train of thought he has here and that incident have some correlation? Maybe wanted to do something big, got push back on it being a lil too much, then he fought for it only for him to get suspended? so he has remembered this (or reality checked himself, as he put it) like he has suspended himself into, not creative burnout, but creative paralysis, the fear to create something new and just have things stay as they are, not to even shimmy, never mind rock the boat potentially?
