Prime Mike Tyson, was a genuine one of a kind force of nature! Speed of movement and combinations, physically strong and built like a tank with knock out power in both fists, along with a great chin. And up until he got distracted by fame and fortune, totally committed to being the best ever! He would wipe the floor with Wilder. In fact there's probably a good few fighters from Mikes era, that would of troubled Wilder.

Only fighter I think that would have beat a prime Tyson is Sonny Liston. Tyson usually was in for a long night once he figured out his opponent wasn't intimidated of him. Sonny Liston feared no one, I doubt Tyson could intimidate Liston.

BTW, what prime??? Tyson's mentor died when Tyson was 11 fights into his career. When Tyson was given something other than ESPN fighters he failed. Failed to KO (Williams, Douglas, Smith, Tucker) or failed to KO and got KO'd (Lewis, Holyfield and the 2 bums who deserve no mention). A great fighter no matter his circumstances gets KO'd by Danny Williams and Kevin McBride.

For everyone saying that Tyson would knock out Wilder, y'all need to do a BIG reassement. Y'all all forget Tyson lost to someone named Buster Douglas. If Wilder and Buster Douglas fought Wilder would k.o. him in like the 2nd round. Wilder is too big for Tyson which and hits as hard or even harder than Tyson. Wilder would k.o. Tyson in a 5th round k.o.

Tyson simply wasn't fighting at his 100% full capacity in the Buster Douglas fight... Don King and his legion of leeches, had NEGATIVELY affected Tyson's performance in the coming weeks/months leading up to his 1st loss to Buster Douglas in Tokyo. Not to mention all that drugs, alcohol, coke, hookers, ect. If only Tyson had kept Kevin Rooney and Cayton's crew, he would've ran right over Douglas like an express train. The way that Holyfield easily DESTROYED Buster Douglas later that same year; not only proved that he was just another BUM, but also pointed out the fact that he wasn't fighting at 100% full capacity either. He was simply just there only for a 25 million dollar payday, and that was about it!
