Yeah idk how RJJ can react to Mike Tyson. I'm pretty sure Mike will just walk out, duck and weave past his jabs and then shatter Roy's jaw from multiple different angles putting him straight to sleep. If Roy wants to win he'll have to keep jabbing, moving and avoiding until Mike tires out and Roy wins but I don't think that's gonna happen. I don't think Roy can handle the power and style of Tyson since his defense isn't great and he's bad when he's on the ropes or on the back foot, so I just see Mike Tyson winning via KO early on after Jones Jr couldn't handle his aggression and Tyson got some good hits in. If it goes the distance then RJJ will win but I don't think that'll happen. Mike is just too powerful and aggressive and too dangerous.

Prime Floyd is better. Too bad there is too much size deficit for them to really have ever been able to fight. Roy resume allows him to look much better than a lot of other fighters. Mike Tyson suffers the same problem. When you are an extraordinary talent and you go up against subpar talent, it makes you look like a god.
@josephjohnroe36786 жыл бұрын
The separation between Jones and everyone else in his prime was enormous. People only started talking about Floyd once Jones began to fade. He was never the same after moving up to Heavyweight. No dispute who the best pound for pound fighter was in the 90s, it was Jones and it wasn't even close! The guy was bored because he was so much better than everyone else.
@jayson35286 жыл бұрын
As I already stated.... Roy was the most exciting and most watchable fighter in his era.. no one is disputing that.... What I am saying is his resume is pretty mediocre. Most people cant name 7 people he fought if you put them on the spot and didn't give them internet access. Roy Jones suffers from the same circumstances as Tyson.. Tyson was the most dominant fighter in the late 80s and early 90s... far above roy jones... but when you look at his resume... he lost to every prime hall of fame fighter that he faced... Roy got destroyed by tarver, and then has been repeatedly knocked out... There is no comparison who the pound for pound better fighter is... and that is Floyd. He is battle tested, he has a list of hall of famers and future hall of famers under his belt... and he has beaten every style... if he came back tomorrow.. he would be the favorite at 154 and under and he is 41 years old. It didn't stop them from continuing on, no, but it(FATHER TIME) did stop their REIGN on top/it stopped them from continuing to be number 1. And for some, who have/did continued on, past their prime, like Roy Jones, it has been detrimental to their health, for back to back knock outs, like RJ has had, is of no value to any boxer, especially one past his prime. Unless you consider back to back knock outs/head trauma some type of honor act/accomplishment or prize for a fighter past his prime? And Mayweather has retired(he(FM) has respected FATHER TIMES request); he's(FM) even stated he's not as on point, in the ring, as he use to be. And, in one of his recent interviews, where he talks about his uncle's well being, which is fading, he stated he wanted to retire from boxing, at the right time, so he could keep his health in check. So, as I've stated, FATHER TIME will, eventually, defeat "ALL", who continue on(Mayweather has retired, so he has ceased to continue on) past their prime.
