I wrote this song from the inspiration that came after volunteering with an amazing woman named Mazal, a woman who survived the Holocaust.
I always wanted to talk to her about the things she experienced, but I never felt like I could.
Still I wanted to give her a gentle hand and a hug, and the promise that she is safe and protected forever.
The lives we live sometimes prove to us differently, like the situation in the world in the past year.
This is a song that seeks to provide a sense of safety to anyone who feels they need it.
