My CX-7 has now 270k with the first engine. Bought it with 230k, and it got a new timing chain at 190k. I service it every 10000km or twice a year. On the last oil change, I decided to add Liquimoly Mos2 as additional protection. The engine is running very well, and the consumption on my way to work is about 6L per 100km. Love this car 🙂

I own a 2019 CX5 with the 2.2d 185hp. Love it, change oil every 10-12k, auto transfluid every 50k. Thanks for your very informative videos!

I had a low oil pressure red warning light in diesel Mazda 6, about month ago. I stopped immediately, once I noticed it, probably within 30-60s. I check the dashboard frequently. Then I decided to drive to the nearest car park at a park and soccer fields, circa 300-500m to spend a night and find a garage. I already felt guilty for driving a bit with the oil warning, but it seems I good lucky and there was no serious damage to the engine. Injector washers and oil sump strainer were replaced, and later two injectors, turbo unit and dpf, eckhem, cleaned, because the car had other issues. Last week I got another engine inspection required yellow warning so the fight isn't over ;) I also need to do the front suspension to pass the annual tests.

@pavel9652 That's quite annoying warning after warning, but if the vehicle is repairable, then it's a relief. Good luck with it.

Hello didn't find any other channel where I could ask this so I try - do you have any expirience with not retracting rear seat belts ?

Hi, you can try to clean the retractor with air by blowing out the dirt while dragging and retracting the seat belt; if there is an anchor, clean it as well. If that doesn't help, replace it. For bowing out, use compressed air.

Thanks for informative videos. How many manhours will it normally take to replace a turbo on a CX-5 2.2 , do the engine have to come out?

I do not remember precisely; a Mechanic familiar with the vehicle should replace it within 6 to 7 hours, and the engine stays in place.

Hey its me again 🙈 Looks like theBearings for the Balancershaftunit are not available seperatly. Do you have a Partnumber of the Bearings? Where did you get them from ? Hooefully i am not annoying you to much.

Hi, that is not available as replacement part, you can order them custom made only at specialised workshops (Google search). Otherwise you need brand new balancer unit.

Loads of reports of the 2.2D headgasket issues and overheating..any advice on this?

Thanks for the comment. Here I think you've generalized a bit 2.2D. That was on the first engines 2012-2013 models, and from my point of view, it was rather a rare issue, to be Frank after Mazda did modifications I haven't heard much about it. But if you have some more knowledge it is highly appreciated that you share it with us, so you could write more about it. Advise, change the gasket and drive🙂

Hi, i am owner of m6 2013 and had the head gasket issue recently. I did the repair on my own and since then I look at the coolant temperature per OBD2. It fluctulate between 83 - 96 degree, depending on load. The changes can be seen in matter of seconds. Is it normal for such healthy motor? Before the repair it went above 105°C and more. Before the issue I didnt take a look at the temperature at all, so I dont know the healthy behavior.

Yes, a metal one is available at the dealership, but check the old one. You may be able to reuse it

44-54 nm and from the top of the engine sequnce of tightening is from the belt side 1 2 than bottom 2 1

I would advise owners of 2.2D to change the washers under the fuel injectors after 50K km.

I would have agreed with that statement some time ago because the washers and tightening torque have been improved and this gas leak doesn't occur so early anymore. For safety, however, an early replacement at 80K km. Nevertheless, In my car, I replace those washers every 60k km 🙂

If there serviced every 5000km since new they will last 300000km

Well it depends on driving distances per year, if you drive let's say 7K then you should replace it more often, otherwise 10K is enough

@@JB_Auto the turbo manufacturer will say every 5k unfortunately the car manufacturer wants to appear green friendly. Cars all started going backwards from 2012 , There basically all pieces of shit .
