1:47 uhhh the o-ring seal for the pcv is still in the plastic oil air separator! make sure you re -use it or buy a replacement o-ring. i also be prepared to get a new plastic ring since it may be brittle now & prone to break apart when prying too hard.

If u do break it.there is a ford alternative part nr.ford mondeo 1.8 duratec use same ring

Shared Ford parts for these including the whole engine are cheaper too! 😂 I'd always go Ford for spares on most Mazda l engines

Would a bad PVC cause the car not to start? Son was driving home and it just died. I'm getting a 2177 error and it cranks over, but will not start.

Highly unlikey. A bad PCV valve is more likely to cause rough running or smoke blowing
