As a french, that’s the car I heard the first time at Le Mans in 2011 that was here for presentation 20 years after it’s victory. That’s the first time I got interested to learn about Japanese cars and their design, at first I didn’t know anything about this country as it’s so far away from France. Then I fell in love with their car/bike manufacturer, Honda, Nissan, Mazda Toyota, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Mitsubishi etc.. Thank you Mazda for opening that passion that was sleeping in me ❤
I was fortunate enough to see one of these at the Mazda museum in Hiroshima and seen them run many years ago. There is nothing that comes close to the sound of 4 rotors turning at speed!!
Totally agree with the comments that it's a tremendous noise from the rotary engine try to run this type of thing in the UK and the council noise meter would break great to see the heritage of Japanese engineering alive and well
Dynamic shots of the crews rolling the cars from the garage - well done! Wonderful cars, incredible sound. It looks like a perfect day for some hot laps. The Japanese do so many things exceptionally well.
