Unfortunately there is not much else. At least where I live, we get shades of gray, soul red and some dark blue. Other brands only offer a pale red as "color".

Nice job! I know from personal experience Soul Red is not an easy color to do. I had a 2016 MX-5 in that color and only certain body shops knew how to do a repair and blend the right way. One actually told me they just repainted one lady’s car entirely because they couldn’t match the factory color.

I would've avoided that place like the plague. I've seen the poor work other shops have turned out regarding this color. I do this color occasionally(among others like it) and don't have any issues with match. Since I only saw a couple primer spots on the right side and a new gate and bumper, I'm curious as to why the hood and left side were painted in this video. Discounting the left quarter panel as a blend, it seems like the entire vehicle was being sprayed to avoid a mismatch.

New front bumper new rear bumper new gate repair on right side of vehicle only things that were not going to be painted was roof and doors customer asked us to paint the doors and pay the difference since they were previously worked on and did not match

@@24kcustomz59 Gotcha. Good on the customer to get it right. Most don't want to spend the extra to correct issues like that. As for shops that paint an entire car because they claim the color don't match, BS. That's a sure sign of poor quality in techs, refinish line or both. To your point of color match on a disassembled vehicle, it's completely doable, as you stated. I process 2-3 070 ZKG claims per week without issue. It all boils down to application consistency. What line are you using?

That’s new painting going upwards so any crap on you, your gun or line falls into wet paint . Guess you have to nib the crap out at the end . There’s a reason why you go top to bottom , you get less crap in the paint

Why do you apply coloured clear coat with AQUA head? Last step for this colour (with Autocolor "PPG") is apply one coat of clear coat to finish. To can polish any pixie dust or any mistake without lose red tone if you sand and polish some parts.
