No need to remove all those clutches unless your inspecting them the center sprag planetary set comes right out, yes it is a little more difficult to get back in but can be done. Thanks for posting this saved me big $$.

Thank you for the video! If there's some vibration when shifting into reverse, or neutral, would of be the same problem? Just did the transmission fluid change because it hadn't been done (I suppose never, bought it 6 months ago) and it started to vibrate a little in Drive, now it's more noticeable but only in Reverse and a little less in Neutral.

My reverse works but if I'm uphill it wont.. how much u think a transmission show would charge for it? What u think if I have them fix my reverse n the 3rd gear slipping. Heard to just add Lucas trans slip fluid, but my trans fluid is super full. Looks like too much is in it but I don't wanna take none out I'm scared il f it up.. I'm thinking there is a reason they put too much in maybe..

Does that problem only affect reverse or does it affect any forward gears ? Mine has no reverse or 3rd just flares into neutral and slams back in hard.

What if the drum is stuck to the cover. Got the screws removed and went to remove cover but drum is stuck to it?

You have to pull it harder, that's the only way
