Hey guys please help !!!!. My mazda 2 has just had a brand new timing chain done and I have what sounds like timing chain noise at 2-3k rpm. It's a 1.5zy engine. Timing chain and tensioner are in perfect condition. Chain is tight.

I agree! I currently have a fluttering/rattle noise coming from what I think is the alternator but this makes me think differently

I agree im in my car trying to pin point the noise on mine It shut off randomly and then when able to start again started rattling and whining on idle

@@rubenavalos32 sounds like a bad pulley or alternator. Pulley probably locked up causing the engine to stop.

Hello, every time I start my Mazda Cx3 the engine has fluctuating idle and with or without the air conditioning activated and after about 20 seconds it works fine, I don't know if this is normal or what could be causing it.

Hi, new subscriber! I just picked up a 2007 maxda 6 and im getting a rattle sound whenever i accelerate. Whenever i back off the accelerater it stops, almost sounds like a fan noise and only happens when im accelerating if that makes any sense. Please help 😪

I don't understand why it isn't standard in modern interference engines to have valve pockets to prevent valve and head damage from a slipped/jumped timing chain/belt. It makes no sense, and could prevent a costly catastrophe.

This engine doesn't look like its had regular oil changes. Regular oil changes will help avoid this issue.

O veículos dessa marca quando estão a pedir a ou fazer a regeneração do filtro de partículas fica mais acelerado e com ventuilha a trabalhar , Se não deixar fazer a regeneração várias vezes vai misturar combustível no óleo de motor e vai dar uma mensagem de nível óleo alto, ver na vareta do óleo não pode passar do nível máximo chegar ao x que tem na vareta do óleo motor perígo e depois tem de mudar o óleo motor e filtro se não tiver nada mais grave

Cool trick to take the rattle noise away and make the engine last longer till you can get it fixed or pay to have it fixed is just crank the engine for 8 - 10 seconds, turn back the ignition, then start it up again and you should be good, temporarily.

@@MR5er1 press your foot on the gas while turning the key and the engine will crank and count down to 8 seconds and take your foot off thr gas and start it up .. It should put tension on the chain

​@@MR5er1don't listen to this 😂 there is no trick for a bad chain dude. Bad chains means a bad fuckin job. But, to crank the car without starting you can see if holding your gas pedal down to the floor then cranking works, or pull the fuel pump fuse/relay.

these engines are failing all over the world this is not the only issue. Blown head gaskets, turbo failure Premature wearing of exhaust camshafts and other engine parts. Engines filling with carbon the list is endless.

Not always. I have 174k original miles on my Mazda 3 and the engine does not have the timing chain issues yet.
