* Sorry for the loud 'door open' beeping! (turn your volume down) *
I added a recovery mode to my Mazda 3 (2015) infotainment system (v55.750 firmware).
This creates a wifi AP so I can connect with ssh and fix anything I may have broken.
In this video, I first boot the system normally. Then (at approx 00:34) I press Mute+Nav to reboot. Once I see the startup logo (00:47), my left hand presses the Hangup button on the steering wheel. This activates "Recovery mode". A few seconds later (00:57), the "Recovery Mode" message is displayed, showing the Wifi IP address of the Mazda (where to ssh to).
I then use my iPad to connect to the "MZDX-xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" Wifi AP, and ssh-in using the "Prompt 2" ssh client.
Sorry you can't really read my iPad screen as I connect - it was too bright on the Wifi connection screen, and probably too far away/blurry to see the ssh console clearly. I ssh'd in, typed "ls", "ls /", then "reboot"
