Connected my Mazda today! I’m very happy to have internet in the car and can easily share it with my kid’s tablet, as well as with friends and guests. Thanks, Mazda & AT&T! Earlier, we bought additional gadgets for this, but now it’s built-in! Awesome ❤

Why not just turn on hotspot on the phone and everyone in the car can use it. Without paying extra. Mazda make it happen

So your benefits would be the antenna in the car is better than the antenna on a phone. Second of all you may also get the benefit of having a different carrier for your cell phones as the Wi-Fi hopefully filling in gaps.

It's free for 3 years. I haven't found what the cost is after that. For those of us without an unlimited plan, it could help. I haven't found who the provider is yet, either.

It is for 3 months only, at least where I live the provider is at&t, and be aware because “…2GB of data is used or when 3-month period ends, whichever comes first. Hotspot connects up to 5 Wi-Fi capable devices…” 2GB is almost nothing of data, specially if some of the 5 devices watch videos.

@jeanndavid9485 2G can be used in a week if your phone has WiFi turned on always. I burned through that quick from my phone automatically connecting. Didn’t even need it. I got it for my son to use to play on his iPad. And like you mine is not for Verizon it’s AT&T. Wish it was Verizon I’d get a better rate.

Tried connecting today, car wasn’t getting the code to connect to my phone. So I tried turning the car off and on again and a warning appeared saying (In Vehicle Network Malfunction, Have the Vehicle Inspected). Finally got the code but now I got a warning on my car

oh I didnt know this, that the car acts as a cellphone, but I already have a cellphone so why would I need this? I have hotspot with my cell phone already

Whenever I turn my wifi on it won't allow me to connect to Android auto at the same time. Is there a fix for this?

you only get 2GB for a 3 month offer runs out when you use up 2gb, that is like nothing, you will run out of data in like less than one hour if anyone is watching videos at 4k on the hotspot
