Just spotted that practical tip of placing masking tape in the rim of an open pot of paint, to prevent flooding the closure. Neat.

Nice work ,Just put a turbo on my sons gf's 1995 mx5 here in Australia it made 230 whp , watching this shows how much salt takes its toll on uk cars as hers has zero rust whatsoever

Gents. You must be so chuffed with this magnificent acheivement . I've been in the game for nearly 55 years and can vouch your skills are top dog . I restored an equally , if not worse , TR6 and it taught me so much in the skills of metal fabrication . And don't even start on my "e"type ! And as we know, if you charged yourself £10 p/hr this would stand you in at £20 k + . Somehow l missed your episode(s) including final paintwork and final fit up. Have a well deserved break for Christmas 😊😊😊

Make sure the drain holes around the back of the hood well are clear as this is one of the prime causes of rust around the front of the rear arches.
