I bought mine pre-covid for about $3k in the USA, new calipers, pads, and rotors from Brembo, the full GT conversion kit; mine almost look like retrofitted RX7 calipers with the Brembo touch, but my goodness, it brakes SO HARD now, the factory 225 tires are no longer viable, it locks the fronts instantly if I press too hard. Best thing, the pedal is stiff just the way I like it, and brake pedal response is fantastic! I was debating trying out some of these new brands like Ceika for the rear calipers, cause the factory RX8 rear calipers are no longer new, they're all remanufactured, and they look really sad. Those calipers brand new from Renault are around 400GBP for a pair, so buying used ones is usually pointless :) Brembos from Megane are even cheaper (despite being a bit bigger), at around 370GBP for a pair.

They the old 18" Rota GTRs that Cygnus used to run. Front: 18 x 8.5J ET42 + 15mm Spacers (235/40 R18) Rear: 18 x 9.5J ET30 (265/35 R18) We love a staggered setup around here, and love it when rear wheels have a slightly deeper concave look about them 🔥

The caliper setup absolutely will! But the brake lines are somewhat different, so just bear that in mind 🫰🏽

@@AJZulu I absolutely agree, but I have personally never gotten ABS to engage on the tyres I've chosen over the years 😆 This upgrade for Habbo was more about the cosmetics. The stopping power was just a bonus!
