I off loaded my skyactiv diesel mazda 6, it was a lovely car, but I breathed a sigh of relief when it went, I now drive a mazda 3 skyactiv X the the one which is petrol, but is the compression ignition model, it's very good on the MPG for a petrol

do you get the injectors tested? I got mine tested where they analyse the spray pattern and they were perfect, 40k miles on them. And yes please do a vid on the results, I suspect my dpf needs to be removed and professionally cleaned because the spray did not work but I can look at your results to compare with.

The screen with the Engine, AC indicator is located in the Fuel Economy Monitor menu. I also noticed the car is in re-gen when the engine icon greys out. (you are right on)

Yes that's correct, the little engine icon, on the i eloop models, the start stop, doesn't work also on the regen, and the car sounds tapity

Hello Sir, I had oil light turn on a couple of months after buying my mazda 6 2017 skyactiveD 2.2 was diagnosed as injector seals by the dealer... They were replaced however now after 20k+ ive recently found oil level increased above max in 3 weeks after a service... My drives are regularly only 15 mins also... Reckon the DPF due to short journeys is getting blocked or injectors again?

Hello. Could you provide more information about the degree of oil thinning and its impact on regeneration? What would happen if it is not reset?If the injector has corrosion and is leaking, there will be differences between the actual fuel refilling and the average consumption that the car is supposed to have. Or am I mistaken? I also performed a flushing using similar fluids as you did, but there wasn't much improvement. After that, I added a DPF (diesel particulate filter) additive to the fuel from Liqui Moly. This product helped me; the regeneration distance increased significantly.

Time to go remove the injectors, change and clean the seals and seats then. My 2.2 goes about 80km inbetween regenerations :(

I tried different DPF foam cleaning using the same method you did. Wurth, Xenum, Errecom DPF flush, they did work but after 10k+ km, the regens drop bellow 100 km. I tested the injectors and they seem all ok. Now the only think I did not check is the EFR valves... Do you know that the 99.2% egr error PID means?

its most probably engine oil leaking into the combustion chambers, causing excessive particles in the dpf. Any other failure mode causes a error code to be thrown whereas that one is most likely disregarded by ecu as "crappy fuel quality-but still within spec"

Hi. I have mazda 6 2.2 skyactiv 2015 with 85k miles. I have no fault codes. But the car is regening every ~50-60 miles. Is it most likely injector problem? Thanks

Mazda does not list injector nozzles only injectors as a spare part, meaning dealerships are not equipped to repair only replace them, as with most items. You could try Feathers Fuel injection at Huddersfield. The nozzle is the heart of the injector, if the holes are worn which is often the case due to a manufacturing defect, then its new injectors. I have been down that road 12k miles ago and it looks like its happening again or the intake system is heavily carboned. I have cleaned the stainless pipe from the cooler to the EGR valve using just soapy water, will be removing cooler and valve today and doing the same. I may need a manifold and head decarbonise, how do I contact you as I don't use social media only email. Happy to see the follow on video.

I think I need 4 new injectors. My cx-5 regens every 35-40 miles. Everything is spotless, egr, cooler and intake manifold. All live data looks fine after regen. I think the injector tips get worn after 50k miles. I’m very interested ti find out how this turns out.

My desired accumulation not going below 2.4 other tow after regen are on zero but accumulation amount quickly raised to the desired value. Regen every 50-70km
