1ヶ月ほど前に免許をとってから、1度GGEPの後期型を運転する機会があったのですが、10年以上前の車と思えないような滑らかかつスポーティな走りでハンドリングなんかもクイックで良かったですね。ATのセダンでもここまで楽しめるんだと言うことを教えてくれる車でした。

The geniuses at Mazda North America killed "Zoom - Zoom" for us by giving us a fat, overweight Camry, Mazda 6 for the North American market only, based on the old platform. They also killed the hatchback (which now Honda and BMW are selling) as well as the V6 coupled with a stick shift. The North American product marketing people should be strung up!

最後の方でレガシィとアルテッツァdisってて笑う。レガシィは4WD、アルテッツァはFR。安上がりのFFしか作れないくせにその辺を無視してドヤ顔してるあたりマツダなんて所詮は3流メーカーなんだなと思わざるを得ない。
