To give a better answer than my previous post, let me quote from CS's website: "The CorkSport 3.5” Downpipe Only Kit is designed to fit an upgraded 3in or 80mm exhaust that uses the OEM style donut gasket for an easy install with your existing pipes. Does NOT fit with OEM cat-back exhaust." But, since it works with OEM cat-back donuts, I suspect that you probably could finagle it to work with an OEM exhaust. But it would seem silly to do so. Why get a big 'ol 3.5" downpipe to constrict it with an OEM exhaust? Also, remember that the intended use is just with CST5 and CST6 turbos. Specifically, it is NOT for K04 turbos. So, whether you could finagle an OEM exhaust to work or not, it just wouldn't make sense to do so.

In this video you state that it is 3.5" for the entire pipe except "reduces down to that 3 inches at the very end". Shouldn't you have made it reduce down to 80mm at the very end??? I've never even understood why you even made your cat-back 80mm, as that is (slightly) bigger than 3" but there is no 80mm downpipe, not even yours. That 80mm cat-back might FINALLY, after all these years make some sense if this downpipe reduced down to 80mm rather than 3 inches.
