You definitely want those check valves if the pumps don't have check valves built in. Otherwise the fuel from one of the pumps will just flow right back through the other one.

Get rid of the 6 and put the Japan badge Atenza on the other side. I don't see why more proud MAZDASPEED owners don't do that little bit of research of these cars in Japan. I see a lot of evil Mazda badges though.🤔

Hey I recently did a compression test and got 180 across the board, but I did this one cylinder at time placing the spark plug and boot after testing the cylinder. Is this wrong and should I redo the test pulling all the spark plugs? Thanks

Troubleshooting Question I have for you Alex or anyone else on here. When I fill up the speed6 to full I've notice it slowly running down the tank, and in the morning a small spot on the ground. But if I fill up to 3/4 tank no fuel running down the tank or on the ground. Any ideas fellas? Btw love the shop it look like everything is coming together for y'all. Big things coming 👍

It`s most likely the in tank fuel pump seal that is bad, allowing fuel to seep past when filled up. Replace the seal and the plastic lock ring just to be safe. You can check by removing your rear seat bottom, check the driver`s and passenger side fuel pump access panel to see which side is leaking. I had this same issue and it was the passenger side for me. It only happened after filling up the tank as well. You will need a special tool to remove the plastic lock ring if you plan on doing this yourself. Hope this helps!

@@CJ3USAF You`re welcome. I would say its most likely your issue. The seal around the fuel pump is rubber and would definitely wear out after all these years allowing fuel to seep past and run down the tank after a fill up. I had the exact same issue and this was the fix. I just got the parts online from mazdaswag.com. The part number for the seal is GJ6A-42-166 and the part number for the lock ring is GJ6A-42-167.
