This is very nice. I love the quality or your camera. It makes for really good content! Also, it really helps to see things on my big screen. When I watch your driving videos, I use the noise cancelation headphones like I switched to when you started the car in this lol. I love that shifter. And the Mustang, lol. It might be dusty, but she's pretty 😅. I know the video isn't about her! I just had to say b.c you know how I am with classic American muscle!

I see you have metal piece above your driver side exhaust. Did you fabricate that?? I had a quad exhaust installed and those pieces broke off. Would love to get something to cover it up like yours

P.S. I'm just curious: When you say knotchy-er, " Sorry for my spelling! You mean, you want to feel the shift? I know that is a terrible way to ask this lol but I mean feeling the shifter "knotch" into gear as you go along, lol. Because it's why I prefer a smaller shifter. I love the sound in my headphones. When I turn them down with noise cancelation on, I can feel the vibration of your RX8, LoL!

best way I guess I could explain it is I was looking for a more gated feeling when moving through the gears. its not bad by any means from the factory but I guess I was looking for a more confidence inspiring gear shift

@unknowngarage I can understand that! As you've already said, you tend to be a bit slow on shifting, but for good reason. I remember my 1990 F150. The shifter felt better than it did in my 2009 Jeep Patriot. I like feeling the shift myself, or I won't be confident when I let off of the clutch. Thanks for sharing!

@@roberthedleyiii279I just got the same shifter. I believe he is trying to say that unlike OEM shifter the MazdaTrix shifter is precise. The neutral wiggle is not possible coz its doesnt move freely (thats the point of buying a short throw apart from precise and small throw). You would need more than adequate force to move your gear selector to your desired gear.

It is a Mugen Rep from a 8th gen civic with a custom riser. There should be more details in the Rx8 introduction video
