For anyone who doesn’t know, the new earthbound support is actually a sub archetype of earthbound immortals from the anime. They’re meant to be played as a dedicated deck with harmonic synchro fusion

Yeah, the pre-alpha Chronomalys are from an old man in the prison mini-arc who collects cards base on real life artifacts and who was so bad at dueling Yusei had to duel for him using his deck (because unlike the old man and most of the playerbase, Yusei could read cards).

I don't know why Ancient chant is in here (Feels like pack filler) but everything else is awesome! The Thrust reprint was desperately needed and I'm happy to see that RACE is going to be affordable for more people. I'm now just wondering if the Flame Swordsman stuff is playable at all. Reading some of the cards I don't see the strengths. Maybe it can work as an engine with another deck.

I paused on all of them that he pulled... they look REALLY mid lol. On one hand, I'm psyched cause there's some cool fanservice (Mirage Knight retrain, but he sucks lmao), but the deck is just battle phase shenanigans and attack boosting stuff. In what's looking like maybe the strongest FIRE format in the history of the game... it's gonna be hard to justify playing this. The continuous spell seems like a legitimately good card though, just doesn't have any good payoff

So they reprinted Altergeist cards which are already very cheap, and earthbound cards, which were already reprinted in legendary duelists, and othdr cheap cards teprints.... When we have so many expensive cards they need to reprint.... Damn Konami, get your act together
