Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️ *What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS

As Muslims our fasts are from sunrise to sunset. Since the holy month of Ramadan goes by lunar calendar it can mean long fasts depending on season and location (for example 16-19 hours long). Our fasts mean no drink such as water or food in that time but also means not engaging in human desires such as sexual relations between spouses, fighting/arguing, cigarette smoking etc as well during the fasting period. This continues daily for approx a 29-30 days. Our children began very young on their own and by 6-8 years old could do the whole time. In this time it is important to give charity and engage in worship. It is common to feed the poor and our hunger reminds us of those who do not have. I love the feeling of discipline and the closeness to God I feel when I do not engage in my human desires. I also see how much we consume compared to how much is really necessary as far as food. I have also done a continuous 10 day fast (no food but drink) while was husband was engaging in a 2 week hunger strike in front of the United Nations in New York City for political reasons. Our bodies, spirits and minds are capable of great things. I think it is great to teach the children this discipline and closeness to God as well as mindfulness of others in the world.

I like all the things that have been said about fasting.. yes girl you are right about fasting and muslims. Nice to share 🤍 Next time try a week Elena.. we all fall (accidentally) a for the tasting when we are cooking.. last important note : for muslims fasting counts only if you made the intention to fast.

This is amazing! If y'all continue to allow God to lead y'all, you will never regret it. I remember when I first came to Jesus (sincerely repentant, done with living life my way), I would sit at my desk and read my Bible on my lunch breaks. My tears would fall onto the pages because I knew that if He loved those people enough to help them and heal them, then He loved me that much too. His Word was alive and it changed the course of my life. That was 13 years ago. God bless you all! I'll be praying for y'all!!! And I was healed as well- from high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, I had an issue with blood, I was having to get biopsies to check for cervical cancer.. God completely healed me.

I’ve had no interest in fasting outside of weight loss lol but listening to Elena explain the WHY to Azaio truly moved me to find out more so from this video, I am searching up biblical stories of fasting so I can understand more. And if all goes well, I’m thinking of fasting 24 hours before Christmas.

As a 17 year old Follower of Jesus Christ, seeing Akyli, Amyah, and Azaio reminded me of myself when I was 13-16 years old… I had no interest in knowing who Jesus was, did not understand the importance of fasting, did not want to read the Bible, did not want to pray,etc… I chose to be a teen who had a lot of friends, “live a good worldy life”, and make others happy. True happiness came once I have found the true meaning of life which is Jesus. He’s the one who we are to please in spirit and truth. I hope all of your children grow up to understand how good God is and want to live for Christ only. God bless❤️

Put some cranberry on the turkey and it will taste just fine. To the oldest daughter, I just love you. You are beautiful inside and out. You are a good role model for the younger kids. Mama is always louder than the kids, she is so animated. Joe is always so quiet so it is a good blend. Blessings on this family! Oh!! break a fast softly else you run the risk of getting stomach pains. A hot broth would have been nice then wait a little bit to get your stomach adjusted to eating again.

Yo, this Christian walk isn’t easy, the devil will attack you, but no matter if you don’t feel God or His angels just know they are ALWAYS with you and won’t leave you. Pray to God when you wake up and when you go to bed. Read the Bible too, because God has done so many awesome things :D AND HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH SISTER IN CHRIST :D
@vonzilla20823 жыл бұрын
As you are a new Christian, I want to encourage you to 🙏🏽 please read your Bible well. (audio bible is a good supplement too.) Read, read, read and know it for yourself, so no one can deceive you, and so you can detect when someone is trying to twist scripture. Because there are many wolves in sheep's clothing out here these days. This family is nice, and it's great that they desire getting closer to God, but even they are deceived on some things because, sadly, they had a false teacher/prophet come into their home some weeks ago. So they are not the ones to depend on for spiritual guidance. We all should be like the Bereans (acts 17:11) who were considered more noble because they didn't just listen, but also searched the scriptures to see if what they were being told is actually true. The above commenter gave great advice, to ask the Lord to give you understanding of what you read. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will lead is into all truth, and he will. Ask God to give you his discernment as well. May God bless you and continue to keep and protect you as you grow closer to Him. Also please see Brother John Elving and Revealing Truth to see what ministries to avoid. They call out false teachings and give scripture to explain why the teachings are wrong. Note, I may not necessarily agree with every single thing they say in regards to their personal opinions, but overall they do great in warning about who/what's not right. It should help a lot to know what to avoid since you are new. God bless

I would highly encourage you to read Elyse Fitzpatrick's book, Finding the Love of Jesus: Genesis to Revelation. It is a beautiful book, about how everything in the Bible is about Christ and points to him in some way. It also explains how not to read the Bible, lest we become disappointed or frustrated with it's contents. I'm an "older believer", having been saved for the past 20 years and it was still insightful for me! I'm 29. Cannot recommend this book enough. Also anything by Jen Wilkin and Jackie Hill Perry are great 👍🏾

Joe had his time though, he did shine by showing determination, dedication and the desire to please his family thats important.

I fasted years ago, and my sense of sight became super by the third day. I remember putting my head on top of a colorful mat on the table. When I opened my eye closest to the table, I was seeing a world magnified. As I walked (in my mind’s eye) around this colorful world, I encountered a big boulder in front of me. I then opened both eyes, lifted my head off the table, and realized that what I was seeing was the colorful mat at ground-level perspective. I took a magnifying glass and found the ‘boulder” (it was a piece of sugar). I guess my eyesight over-compensated for the lack of tasting food.

I just love the wonderful way you teach and inspire your kids. They are so blessed to have such wonderful parents. Your friend speaks the truth about fasting others shouldn't be able to see your fasting it's between that person and God. I see that you guys surround yourselves around spiritual people and thats a Wonderful Blessing. I enjoy your content Mazelee Family keep doing what you do letting God continue to guide you and your family God Bless you all😇💕

There are different types of fast for spiritual purposes and should not be burdensome. Absolute- no food or liquid Partial- no food but liquid ( water or liquid without sugar or sweet ingredients). Anytime of day and duration convenient for you and agreed with God. 21 days fast 40 days fast I day fast 3 days fast (effective when life is critical or at stake) Absolute 3 days fast is most effective for serious emergencies and deliverance

Fasting is a routine for me , I've been doing it for over 25 years. the first 3 days of the month. 24 hrs a day no food, only water no television or computers. Just solely focus on hearing from God. It is a pleasure that you are teaching your children how to do it. It becomes easier as your body adjust to not having food. God bless you and your family.

Love your family, teaching children what we believed at their age is good for later life. I did fasting 2 to 3 days per week and whenever I do, I felt more alert and focus, not to mentioned that I had more time to do other stuff when don't have to prepare food or having meal.

Prayer and fasting for our families is a powerful time with God. As we deny the flesh we rise in spirit... you're amazing for being not just a great mom, but a mentor, teacher and leader in your family's spiritual life. We all make mistakes in our fasts, but God judges our hearts. If we were perfect, we wouldn't need Jesus. There is also a Daniel fast which restricts what can be consumed. When I was younger I did liquid fasts allowing water and juice.
