We took our entire family of 10, my wife and 8 kids, on a 2000 mile road trip from California to Colorado! Altogether it was about 26 hrs of driving. It took us a long time to edit this video, so we weren’t even sure if we were even going to put this one out.. so here we go, this was the video you were never supposed to see!

Alena, you were meant to be a mother. Your compassion, patience, strength & laughter is endless! Joel is kind, strong, even keel and a great example of a father whose consistent in the life of his children. The skills you all teach your children at a young age (swimming, sharing in the house hold responsibilities, working hard in school, looking out for one another, etc)- are skills that will stay with them forever! (Teach a child in the way that he should go, and he will not depart from it.) I’ve been to Vail, Colorado and while it was absolutely beautiful, I had the worst headache and breathing restraint. It was awful and felt so guilty for the rest of my traveling party. Due to the altitude, I could barely cope; I stay on Tylenol, Excedrin, humidifier and lots of water. Unfortunately, I won’t be visiting ever again but it was a great time as far as activities, geography and food. A really beautiful place.

So as the female who was the oldest of 6 growing up. It's a lot of responsibility at such a young age to basically( in the most loving way possible that I can translate this into human words), essentially be a leader of a herd that was manifested in the first place due to the mother having an emotional void not being met within herself. Having lots of kids to try and fill an inner void. It's a painful realization and I'm NOT saying to regret your kids. Or anything like that. . Even though in my 30's now, I recognize on such a deep profound level that THAT is why my mom had as many kids as she did. Unresolved emotional baggage (not at all being sarcastic-this word just relates more to what I'm trying to convey) and turmoil. On top of also the hope that the two men and within both marriages to them, between all 6 of us kids, would actually help raise us in a loving reliable way. . . which did not turnout probably accordingly to her expectations. From MY perspective, being one of the children, it didn't. Not intentionally I'm guessing, but the intense emotional infusement of emotion and translation/knowing within, translating to: discarded, not enough, a bother/burden, not allowed to exist, not capable etc. .., on top of those internal infusions having literally manifested metaphorically, into the forms and experiences of arguments and actually being punished and accused of being a "jealous" sibling etc. Especially Once the realizations happened and once I actually tried on multiple occasions to voice it all. . . Anyways, I intend that you explained to the one-child at : 19:51 that you gave the $20.00 to ("even though that child helped alot") instead of $40 to, like you gave the other other kids. Like, explain more in depth to the child as far as WHY you made that decision. The look on that child's face without that child saying and verbal words being said out loud, DOES still say a whole lot. The look comes from feelings that were felt within. A felt experience. Maybe silent or maybe in active heard internal audio thought/narration dialogue form. Maybe intensely, maybe not. But meanings were attached to that moment. Subconsciously/emotionally. THAT part: 19:51 . . Is the glue, that if NOT processed/released/dissolved/thawed out/melted away, those feelings will keep an inner narrative or emotional storm (maybe a combination of both, we all operate differently internally) alive and well fed. Which then keeps a reoccurring cycle happening in the physical "3d"... The felt experience was a very subtle, yet clear manifestation through the child's face here: 19:51 that I personally. I know it was meant for me specifically to notice. A recognition of some storm still left inside of me. You probably won't get this comment or depth to this comment, mainly because it doesn't look like you engage with the people in your comment section. Maybe you will though. However, I just feel called to write this. It's like it's the subtle things and energetic signatures/emotional imprints like this: 19:51 that help build and add onto the feelings, emotions and stories developed within a child about the child's own concept of self, and their concept of the relationship between themselves and the world and the people within the world around them. Concepts from this subtle experience: 19:51 that enforce pretty much, " not good enough" ( if I were to break it down/translate it into human words) and inner narratives and emotions and knowings/feelings that can be translated to similar meanings. "Not (insert here) enough" i.e. " not working hard enough", "not smart enough", "not capable enough" "not satisfying enough", "everyone but me" ...
