monstercolorfun co Not even close. Mazinger Z was the original cartoon (Japanese manga) from Go Nagai and thanks to it, a great variety of giant robot cartoons were created. It was called Tranzor Z in the US. Today it still represents the very best of an era in Japan and about 3/4 of the world. Go Nagai created many other series including the sequel to Mazinger Z called Great Mazinger and other parallel series like Getter Robot, Grendaizer, and non related like Gaiking. In the 21st century, he recreated most of them and added the most powerful giant robot called Mazinkaiser which replaced the original Mazinger. He then decided to reintroduce Mazinger Z as Shin Mazinger. Search for them all and you will find lots of information and episodes online.

Thanks for the infos! The one i know is Grendizer from 1975 which was legendary in France. Mazinger was from 1972 and was from the same anim studio and the same company is force 5. : UFO Robot Grendizer (ＵＦＯロボ グレンダイザー Yūfō Robo Gurendaizā?), also known as Force Five: Grandizer 1975
