Our brothers and sisters from Zimbabwe... Much love from Zambia... Thank you for Mazoe as it gives us a shared experience as though we grew up as neighbors. 🔥 The orange flavor now has an aftertaste and causes throat irritation but I currently enjoy the cream soda flavor 🔥

Mazoe is R50 in Namibia. It's found in all shops Pick n Pay, ShopRite, OK, Woermanbrock. I have tasted all diluted drinks and nothing comes close to Mazoe. It's the best. My favourite are Orange Crush, Pineapple, Cream Soda and Black Current. They are all good including Raspberry.

@@Enielm so how do explain the differences in prices by 100% between Zambia and Zimbabwe. According to your documentary the product sold in Zambia is labelled made in Zimbabwe and not made in Zambia meaning its exported to Zambia. So why does it cost less there. Could nt have been better to travel to Zambia to ask the same questions and also talk to Mazoe management and not field pickers. The economist wanted to talk about legislation but was cut off why

Some people are selling fake ones. I drank one that smelled of paraffin, and that was £6 down the drain. After checking carefully, the logo is different from the original, and the stamp of quality is missing. They need to standardise the price to stop fake production.

You're drinking what's called Mazoe Orange Squash, check your bottle, it' not the original, Zimbabwean orange crush, I bought it in South Africa (the squash) at one time, very excited to find Mazoe in SA (around 2014-16) but soon to discover the difference. Our Mazoe orange crush may be more expensive than most people can afford, but I guarantee you the taste is the same as I grew up knowing.

What a shame hey for such a big and long standing company. Not sure if it is still Schweppes international or what. As Zimbabweans we need to understand our situation. 1 We need our own currency which would be used to the exclusion of all other currencies for local transactions. As long as we insist on using foreign currencies, we will remain subject to the cost of foreign currencies. The Chinese are at the centre of our problems as they are using Zimbabwe as a source of their own forex. 2 We are not exporting anything, simply because we are too lazy to work hard. too lazy to vote for viable governments and too lazy to take steps to outlaw corruption. 3 We have had finance ministers who are lawyers instead of economists. 4 All the 75-90 million USD per month sent by our diasporans and coming into our pockets is not invested in any way. We just buy day to day supplies and live hand to mouth. 5 We are not fighting crime which is rampant throughout the nation, with police being the biggest criminals. We are contributing to our own hardships.

This is why it has always been said that using USD was always harmful to countries. The rising cost of production in Zim is amplified by the fact that it is in USD whereas in Zambia it is in local currency. So their cost of production and exportation is much lower than Zim. There's much more to this but this is one factor to take into consideration.

I've tasted the Mazoe produced in Zambia, it's nothing compared to the one produced in Zim, even the bottles are different

It's not climate change. Has the production methods improved? From just eye view they haven't put much efficiencies there. Also heavy taxation is too much in Zimbabwe.
