I know the comment is old. But I just want to point out that I like the melda guis. They are very technical, functional, scalable and don't distract from the actual listening experience. Many other plugins tend to create false expectations with their GUIs when they use graphical stuff like glowing tubes to trick people into thinking that something sounds better when it objectively doesn't.

I must be in the category of weirdo because I'm digging the GUI design more and more. Every plugin is so uniformly done.
