In set01, question 3, it is mentioned that the ratio is proportional. So, how can we equate the two without considering a proportionality constant ( as it is not mentioned that they are equal)?

You are correct bro. We should add a proportionality constant 'K' while changing directly proportional sign into equal. So ideally we would require 2 more equations to solve for K and Total students to find Female students. But since we're given no other info, hence, CBD.

In that question, they asked that how many colleges aren't divisible by 20 (I.e. 5℅ = 1/20). So, Total of L is divisible by 20. Therefore it can't be the answer. That's why Option B is the answer. You understand?

In pioneer batch there is mock test, doubt solving mechanism, live classes sectional test, dpp where as in foundation batch there is only recorded lectures and dpp(not equivalent to pioneer batch)
