Absolutely adore Kany and her friendship with Key. She’s so relatable when it comes to watching K-drama’s, they are that good, and you learn a lot of funny Korean lines through them that you can’t help wanting to use them in every day life too. I watch k-drama’s with my mom here and there so she’s the only person that knows what I’m saying in Korean 😂 even my dad goes, AISH, from, time to time. I’ve trained my parents well hehe.

It feels like my two worlds are colliding as a black person who enjoys learning more about Korean culture. Most of the time when I see a black woman in an international show or traveling across seas, it seems like she is told to dim her light, change her hair or tone and become more timid or “cute”…this episode you can tell she has a big personality and we was able to see that fully. This was truly entertaining and I hope to see more diverse, friendships, and families in the future.

I have enjoyed Kany's energy since her interview for Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson ONE and was absolutely stunned and excited when I started seeing her with SHINee. Her work is phenomenal!
