Lidya T. He started as Kang Seung Yoon of superstark with the raw husky voice and rocker/songwriter. That's how people label him and yes that's his speciality..he has a rocker soul. However, Seung Yoon is a music lover in general. The reason he didn't join other companies that offered him money and guaranteed him instant fame is because he wanted to learn other genres. YG gave him that freedom to experiment with music genres and he did had a tough time at first. But look at him now...he's so damn versatile and his vocal range has gotten so much better. His voice is polished, but still has that grit and huskiness that we love about him.

I think the judges ruined YoonBal by giving 1 more vote to the challenger, Shield. I knew they were impressed by his operatic bass voice and perhaps they wanted to see if the new koms will stay in the throne as long as Seung Yoon did. But sadly, he failed in his first title defense the folowing week only. I was really annoyed. Seungyoon could have made a really unbreakable record; tho' 6 wins is already very impressive and rare.
