Sunny is my life line.... I can't go on without hearing her beautiful soothing voice. They say no one's perfect but I guess they didn't heard about or saw her when they said that. Sunny, can I say that she used her voice so wisely here? while Sica and Tae used head voices to hit those high notes in the chorus, she used falsetto to make it sound softer and sweeter at some notes. and not that she couldn't hit high notes with her head voice, Sunny and Sica has widest ranges in S9 in my view! ^^~ people usually think that Hyo had the longest training time started in 2000. actually, Sunny, who has been trained since 1998 in Starlight and then changed to Wheesung's Company before joining SM, is the longest-trained-singer in S9. her vocal teacher was Wheesung, so I believe she's trained as well as Tae or Sica or anyone else. but she never boasts herself in front of people, which makes me admire and respect her more and more. go Sunny Bunny~ XD

SunnyNadina I did, and yes, she sounds so angelic but grievous at the same time in that song. and her voice, I believe she was selected by SM not for her looks or dancing skills, or even singing skills (those old days she was kinda weak in controlling her voice, however it's improved a lot now) but for her voice. it's special in its own way and really rare in a good way! ^^~

It just goes to show who have the better skills and I've been telling people that for years but they believe in titles and not the actual talent. I keep telling them that singing is more than the voice but how you utilize that voice. When it comes down to it Sunny is the better vocalist for this purpose. Her strength and control is out of this world. It's not about how powerful or how much you sing. I always questioned & complain about Sunny not singing enough but at times I find myself thinking that's how she wants it. I find myself thinking that she's the kind of person that doesn't like to standout/outshine others. Also her personality... her shyness maybe a big part of it. But then again she stays in the background to avoid people talking about her family situation/influences. And its not just her music career but her acting too. She was chosen to play the main role in a drama but turned it down because she thought it was too much of an important role for her debuted work. Also she once said that she doesn't think she's pretty enough to be an actor. We all know that's anything but the case and also damn sure that she would've dominated that world if she did take the role because from what little we saw on Horror Movie factory she's one hell of an actor.

Even the worst singers in SNSD will be capable of outsinging the main vocals in other groups. Don't talk if you don't know what you're talking about.

That's not the reason... she took a step back because of all the hate she got back in their debuted days. Because it was released that she was the niece of Lee Soo Man owner of SM the company they're from. They were saying she only got into the group because of him and that she wasn't talented. So, she took a step back even though she's a lead vocalisy she sings even less than some of the danceline members. She did this because people would say she only get lines because of who her uncle is. People would complain & keep on hating. Also, from the look of things she is more comfortable backing up & supporting her friends... it's like she doesn't want to outshine her friends which we know she could because the control, versatility & suit to style skills she has is superior to all the other members. This program somewhat showcased her abilities & if you listen to her solos & collaboration it's clear that she could. the more I listen to this live, the more I admire Sunny's voice. though it's quite a sad song, if you search for the lyrics, but she can make it sound both sad and sweet at the same time. not many singers can do that. like Taeyeon, her sad songs almost make me shed tears many time. but listen to Sunny's the 2nd drawer, I can feel a little sweetness in it, which comforts my soul. that's why I said her voice is really rare and truly a gift! plus, whenever listening to her, I can't help but imaging her smiles, bright ones or just a light ones :x

SM Producer should use this formula to distribute line for SNSD songs, I like tiffany voice for mid range like this even compared to sica (same line) she did better, for highnotes I just can't choose Taengsic will always be my fav but Sunny did it amazingly too and Seohyun is just heaven, the thing is she is music genius that's why she's always good at harmonizing. Best distribution ever.
