You can also use FreeDVDBoot if you don't have a FMCB card but you'll need a way to burn an ISO image to a DVD and a working DVD Drive in your PS2 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoGtp4WEl7qAmqM (just another option)

Nevermind issues fixed: ps2 SCPH90001 slim model doesnt work/run on ps1 iso. Opentuna and Funtuna will freeze while loading games if you put ps1 iso inside CD folder. However, on other ps2 slim models running fmcb will run ps1 iso just fine from CD folder. It took me two days to figure this out from trials and errors. HAHAhaaa.. I just bought ps2 slim 90001 couldnt figure out why game loading screen freezes. Haaahaa. Google search didnt help at all.

Thanks to you I was able to mod my R FOXC ps2 slim❤ (Me goof has 2 ps2s, one phat and one slim so putting the mod on the memory card was easy lol)

Nice Video. So i just swap the original OPL that was given when install the opentuna which was on opl version 1.00, which has no MX4sio support and cant read exfat. I copied the latest OPL that can read Exfat to the 128mb non magic gate mmc and Now its working.

It works perfectly, but the games didn't work for me, idk why! *i formated my 16GB ADATA to install the games again with USBUTIL but the same problem, Knowing that it works on other PS2 consoles

Never knew this is what open tuna was used for. This is a great alternative solution for generic cards. Is there a way to run codebreaker with open tuna?

I am not familiar with codebreaker (isn't it a cheat tool)? But I'd assume you put the .elf in the APPS folder and launch it with LauchELF (where you hold circle during the black screen)

Always thought the fact that inside the memory card it says "corrupted data" is a bit of a weird thing but I guess if it works it works which is good

Sometimes after saving the game, the memory file will be corrupted and freeze when loading the openTuna. Is there any solution?

@@mbcrump for example i tested it with GTA : SA. it corrupted the memory file. so i changed the OPNPS2LD.elf with my own 0.7 OPL version. it didnot happen again. what is the embedded OPL version in opentuna?

is not fmcb is open tuna something like fmcb but it need to be loaded maunally and is designed for non comatible memory card so 128mb and more also for non compatible ps2 like slims 9XXXX
