Arteta has been at Arsenal 5 years, joined when the club were in 10th-15th. Always had a clear vision in his head (why he was chosen over more popular candidates like Ancelotti). 2 years in and he has them top of the league, only missed out due to Man City being ruthless. 2nd year challenging he patches the defensive issues and took City to the final day, 89 pts is I believe the 4th highest points tally to not win a league title. This year, he's had the 2nd worst injury crisis itl behind Spurs and has still started the season better than last year, while fighting the terrible officiating. Arteta's had 2 ½ seasons competing with the best, this year he's been seriously unfortunate, last year City were just unbelievable, the year before we weren't ready and still manage to take the treble winners to the 2nd to last day. Feel like people think Klopp is the standard. Klopp took over 8 months before Pep, he took over a team who SHOULD'VE won the league 16 months before arriving. His style of football was more simplistic but less sustainable meaning signings like VVD, Fabinho and Alisson had a massive impact, Liverpool could attack more without worrying about the defense. Arteta's all about detail, he'll adapt meaning certain guys may become redundant (e.g Ramsdale, Trossard, Jesus, Zinchenko, Martinelli), the larger outcome is sustained success, to be the best team in the country for the next generation. Klopp's football was never about that. On top of that Liverpool had been rebuilding under FSG since 2010, when Arteta came in he WAS the rebuild. Just listen what Pep says about him, Pochettino, Mourinho when they both were at Spurs said "Arteta will be one of the great coaches". Only 42, still learning, 3 title races in 5 years with a club 10th-15th when he took over. Terry would bite his hand off if Amorim was in that situation by 2030, especially if he was competing with a team getting 90+ points a season

Yet, with all that strange adversity, he’s managed to gradually turnover an entire squad and keep improving each season, not to forget win a cup in his first few months (funny how FA cup is only major when it’s not arsenal that win it). “Yeah, but with emerys squad” Hmmmm.. so that means tuchel won UCL with lamp squad, ETH won carabao with Ole squad… whose squad did conte win chels title with? Maybe arteta proved it’s easier to focus on a one-off competition when he utilized what he had to work with in winning the FA cup, but rebuilding an entire squad, implementing new tactics, and developing into a consistent title-challenging squad is a whole other animal… maybe not for the faint of heart, including some very loud “gooners” that have been sounding like spoiled brats of late.
